Two Day Trip to Cali
Just came back from a two day trip to Cali!
Malvina and Sam's wedding was gorgeous, and I got 1,010 pictures out of it.
Some are great.
Others not so much.
The potatoes after the ceremony were fantastic.
So was the ceremony.
Heck, everything was great!
I loved seeing my beloved cousin and best friend.
I was really sad to see her go, though.
So my dad took me binge shopping and I bought Reese's Peeces(?), Milano's, lipgloss, and eyeshadow.
We went back to my grandma's apartment and I read a ton of National Geographics that are reandmly laying around in her building.
Most were from the 70's.
Anyhoo, on the plane, right after we landed I had to go pee really bad.
Really bad.
Really, really bad.
So, I went and on the way back , I tried squeezing back to my seat.
But of course, these two old people were all,
"There's no room"
When there was plenty of room for a teeny person like me to squeeze through.
Then they jabbered on and on and ON about how there was no room.
Were they insane?
I don't know.
Couldn't they just let me pass?
What is wrong with all the old people I meet?

In Memory the Titanic
The ship is sinking
In the frozen waters of the Atlantic
And the people scream
Screaming in pain
Screaming in loss
Screaming in regret
Svreaming for life
And the sound from far away
Is an echo in their brains
That bounces of the frozen waters
A tragedy in its own
And then suddenly
They fall into death
And the light caresses their bodies
And the warmth holds them in loving arms
And the light,
Oh, how it feels
And there is no such thing as fear
For there is only love;
My heart is like this ship
Sinking in the frozen waters of life
It is screaming in pain
Screaming in loss
Screaming in regret
Screaming for life
And it echoes through my body
And bounces off its still walls
And then suddenly
A light creeps into the depths of my sleeping soul
And the warmth caresses my soul awake
And the light
Oh, how it feels
Taking away this pain
And replacing it with nothing other
Than pure love

Another Blogger
This is a girl at my school.
I love her poems, because they are far too easy to relate to.
She really nails emotion well.

2 Cameos and a Lizard Gizzard
I gave one of these cameos to myself and the other I got from my grandma.
I got both of them for Christmas :)
The lizard is just some random necklace I hung on the wall.
It's from my mom.
The cameo from myself to myself;
The lizard gizzard;
And the bonus picture for sticking around!!!!

Artwork
This is one of my favorite paintings EVER.
It's
"The Birth of Veus"
by William-Adolphe Bouguereau
painted in the 19th century.
I'm not sure; it's just so B-U-tiful!
Don't freak out by the nudity, people.
And of course the "Mona Lisa"
by Leonardo da Vinci;
my favorite artist of all time.

I think this picture looks awesome when blurry.

Pirate Dog
A while ago I took a picture of this dog at a street fair.
He was being pulled by the leash, and it caused that effect.
I do have this picture on an earlier post, but I decided to re-post it because this is a fascinating photo and finding it would be hard.

Jewely Making
Here's a great link to find instructions on how to make various types of jewely.
A woman named Mai made this and she has a wonderful talent for wire wrapping and jewelry.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Summary of Me
“It had long since come to my attention
that people of accomplishment
rarely sat back
rarely sat back
and let things happen to them.
They went out
and happened to things.”
Leonardo Da Vinci
